Good afternoon and a Happy New Year! This is Dave McMahon, principal at Crestwood High School, with a few important reminders:
Tomorrow, Monday, January 2, teachers return to school for a professional development day. The first day back for students is Tuesday, January 3. Please remember that, due to the weather – related cancellation of school on December 15, Crestwood High School will administer it's final day of semester exams for class periods seven and eight on Tuesday, January 3. Please see the letter sent home that was signed and returned by a parent/guardian for further information regarding the details of our exam schedule.
Please also note that if your child is a freshman, sophomore or junior and was enrolled in a high school course that had a state – mandated AIR test last year, retesting for these air tests will begin this Wednesday, January 4, 2017. More information about this testing was mailed home to parents earlier this school year. For more information on the air re-testing schedule, please refer to the Crestwood High School webpage. Information will be updated on our webpage Monday morning, January 2.
I hope that everyone has had an opportunity to get some much – deserved rest over our holiday break and that you are ready to begin 2017 with a renewed focus on your academic and personal goals. Know that I, as well as the entire staff at Crestwood High School, look forward to helping you reach these goals.
Thank you and enjoy the remainder of your break!
