Crestwood Schools were well represented at the 2017 Wooster Music Camp held at Wooster College July 9-13.

Sixteen Crestwood band students and two former retired music teachers participated in this annual camp. Band students grew in musicianship, technique, listening skills, and performance along with students from all over Ohio and several other states in one of three concert bands. Rehearsals, sectionals, recitals, and recreational activities were led by an exceptional staff of music educators with a total of nearly 750 years of teaching experience! Enrichment activities included African drumming, choir, conducting, and jazz band.

Crestwood participants are Lauren Pallato, Emma Blake, Addie Oliphant, Ethan Brady,  Jaedon Guegold, Lilly Engelhart, Ali Sabol, Raeann Quibble, Rachel Quibble, as well as the following students who earned principal/first chair positions: Quinn Mattern, Zoe Catcott, Ephraim Oliphant, Kenny Stoots, Bryce Papp, Alexis Wilson and Payton McMahon.  Dr. William Guegold was camp coordinator and Mrs. Judith Guegold was the oboe instructor.  Crestwood had the largest contingent of students attending the camp. Congrats to all of our outstanding band participants!
