Betty Miner is an Intervention Specialist at Crestwood High School specializing in assisting students with learning disabilities and behavioral and emotional needs.  Mrs. Miner is a 1973 graduate of Crestwood High School. She attended Kent State University majoring in Behavior Disorders, Learning Disabilities and  Elementary Education, graduating in 1977 with a Bachelor of Science in Education degree. Mrs. Miner received her Master's Degree from Kent State University in 1983. Mrs. Miner taught 4th grade at Mantua Village School during the 1977-1978 school year.  In 1978 Mrs. Miner began the special education program at Crestwood High School for students with learning disabilities.  Mrs. Miner has been the high school varsity, JV, and freshman cheer coach, pep club adviser, and ski club adviser.  Mrs. Miner was the first Varsity softball coach for Crestwood High School earning the honor of Coach of the Year.  She is in her 35th year of teaching in the Crestwood Local School District.
