I graduated with my bachelors degree from Walsh University in Early Childhood Education, Early Childhood Education Intervention Specialist and a K-12 Reading Endorsement. I then furthered my education at Kent State University to receive my masters in Gifted Education K-12. I have been teaching at Crestwood Primary for the past 12 years. My first 11 years I was a PreK-2nd grade Intervention Specialist and last year (my 12th year) I transitioned to 1st grade!
My husband and I live in Diamond, where we have been doing a lot of remodeling to our home and land the past few years. We both love to serve in our church. My husband enjoys football and NASCAR so naturally I have started sharing his interests! I have always enjoyed reading with a cup of good coffee or tea...only inside of a large mug that I can wrap my hands around of course! I love going out with friends to coffee shops or Panera to catch up on life and encourage one another! This past March we had our first child, Rachel, whom I have enjoyed spending every moment with this summer. We also have two dogs, Daisy (beagle) and Diesel (black lab); who are spoiled and loved very much along with two barn cats who are great at catching mice!
