I am Mrs. Dianna Mattmuller. I have a degree in Elementary and Special Education from Kent State and my Master's degree in the Art of Education from Mary Grove College. I have been at CMS since the fall of 2000. I teach 6th grade Science and Language Arts. I am also, Leadership Advisor.
I have been married to Dave for the past 40 years and we have two grown married sons. Our oldest lives in Streetsboro and our youngest lives in Baltimore, Maryland. We have two granddaughters. Meredith is now seven years old and is now in second grade. Addison is now 31/2 years old and has a personality to match her red hair. She is either really happy or really mad. I have a Portage APL dog named Tawny who is quite the lady. I enjoy bowling and golf, traveling, reading, and of course spending time with my granddaughters.
I am looking forward to a new year. I always enjoy seeing our 6th graders come in for the first time. They are so excited to be at the middle school and they are sure they will never remember how to find their classrooms or be able to open their locks. Yet, amazingly by the end of the first week they are all pros.
You will be able to check out what is going on in my classess by clicking on the links on the left. There you will be able to find out what we are studying as well as homework, quizzes, and upcoming test dates. I also keep a page on the leadership committee's activities and dates. In addition check out my LA classes in google classroom. Your child knows how to do this. Often you will find faster information there because I use it a lot more. I hop to get things up and running with my science classes in google classroom soon.
