You Might Qualify for Free or Reduced Priced Meals. Learn More and Apply Now! School Lunch

This is a reminder that we accept free and reduced meal applications throughout the school year.  Applications can be found on the website under student forms and in your school's front office. Families only need to fill out one application for all children in a household.

Applying for free or reduced meals is not only important for providing meals for your children it also helps support district funding. Eligibility is based on any one of these three factors: 1) total household income and size; 2) a child’s individual status as foster, homeless, migrant or runaway; and 3) participation in an assistance program by any member of your household (i.e. SNAP, Food stamps, etc.) If your household size has increased due to a birth or a family member has moved in, even if temporary we encourage you to apply.  Additionally, if your employment is seasonal and/or you have become unemployed or your salary has been reduced we encourage you to apply. In addition to receiving free or reduced meals, if your family qualifies for free meals they may also qualify to have school fees waived.

School breakfast and school lunch really help to meet the nutrition needs of kids through the school days so they're ready to enter the classroom and ready to learn!

If you have any questions please contact our Nutrition Services Director Mrs. Bujak-Hirsch at 330-357-8206 ext. 5004.
