Interested in an exciting career in art, animation, advertising, or graphic design? Computer Graphic Design is an exciting introductory class using cutting-edge computer graphics software. Learn the beginning skills needed for the industry such as presentation skills, critique, rapid visualization, scanning, image creation and manipulation, and conversion of rastor based imagery to vector. Software such as Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Bryce and Access will be used. NOTE: If you took Computer Graphics I in the past and have not taken what used to be called ‘Computer Graphics II’, you are encouraged to take this class in order to obtain the Adobe Illustrator fundamentals prior to taking Web Design I. 0313 Web Site Design and Development I 1 Semester Grades 10, 11, 12 ½ Credit
Interested in learning how to develop and maintain your own website? This is the class for you!
Learn to create websites using the language of the internet: Hyper Text Mark-up Language (HTML). On completion of this class, participants will be able to explain how web pages are processed, recognize the structure of an HTML page, write HTML tags to create web pages with text, images, tables and links. Additionally, Macromedia Dreamweaver, an industry standard program regarding web design and development, will be used to create websites.Software such as Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and Access will be used to create your unique site.

0316 HS Web/Tech Team 1 Semester Grades 10, 11, 12 ½ Credit
Students who express an interest in this class must have approval of the instructor prior to registering for the course. This team of students will assist in the daily building process and maintenance of the Crestwood High School website, as well as assist with building technical issues. Prerequisite: Instructor permission only.
