Without doubt, it is an exciting time to be a CMS Red Devil. I come to the Crestwood Middle School family with over 15 years in educational leadership roles and look forward to sharing that experience with the staff to facilitate student learning. I am a native of Slavic Village on the East side of Cleveland, and have four children; one in middle school, two in high school, and one preparing to enter the Air Force. I graduated from South High School in Cleveland and worked for the Department of Recreation at Stella Walsh while attending Cleveland State University after serving in the United States Marine Corps. I earned the NCAA Scholar Athlete award both years I participated in athletics while in college. I earned my bachelors and masters degrees, as well as my superintendent license from CSU, and am currently a doctoral candidate. I look forward to sharing the two expectations that have contributed to the success I have experienced in life.
1. Show Respect
2. Be Prepared
Our school has never been more prepared to meet the needs of every child, every day. We utilize district and school wide programs to support student learning and promote care for school, self, and others. Our teachers utilize the whole child approach to address social and emotional needs while preparing students for the rigorous demands of high school. We take great pride in our ability to design and direct instruction to meet the needs of individual learners and strive to utilize research based best practices to respond when providing enrichment and interventions. I look forward to inspiring, motivating, and leading the staff and students at Crestwood Middle School as we work to "Get Better Every Day".
